Two more great summer reads.

Over the weekend at the beach I finished two great summer reads - or reads for anytime really.

The first was The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. An enthralling saga about a young girl who arrives in Australia with no recollection of her name or family, and how the search for her birthright plays out over the course of three lifetimes.

The second I read over the course of two days; The Rules of Civility tells the story of a young woman coming of age in the late 1930s in New York City.  Written by first time novelist, Amor Towles, it’s an engaging story that has you turning pages right away - and often leaves you forgetting that it’s set 70 years ago and not in present day New York.

If you need a book for your next beach weekend, look no further than either of these.
