Well, it was indeed a great eating weekend.  Sunday, I met Tracy at Traif in Williamsburg for brunch.  If you visit the restaurant’s Web site, their motto states: Celebrating pork, shellfish, & globally-inspired soul food.
And celebrate they do.  We kicked off our date with pineapples covered in molasses, yum.  For our main courses, I had the bacon—egg-cheese sliders with sweet potato fries and smoked paprika aioli and Tracy got the chicken ‘n’ biscuit with sausage, gravy and honey.  We were each extremely happy with our decisions.  My bacon was actually pork belly which inevitably made the sandwich that much more delicious; Tracy’s chicken was so good, I had to try some for myself.
For dessert we split their key lime pie - a perfect end to a great Sunday brunch.  I would definitely come back, especially to try their dinner which looks equally good.
