Not a week goes by that I don’t watch at least two or three episodes of The Golden Girls. I am not kidding…
And on this snowy day with a slow moving inbox, I stumbled across this article on The Daily Beat from the fall on the 25th anniversary of the show. It is SPOT ON and pretty much sums up perfectly why I never tired of it, even if I’ve seen an episode a thousand times...

Best Books 2010
I know a few of you have been posting on your favorite meals of 2010, so I was inspired to consider my favorite genre, books, and what reached the top of my list for the year. Here’s what I came up with (in no particular order):
The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon - I could not put this book down, so many twists and turns - a GREAT read for anyone, really.

Winter races...
I am seriously reconsidering my choice to sign up for the Fred Lebow 5 mile race this morning. Glad I did it, but boy am I cold now. I seriously can’t warm up. Running past the CNN billboard in Columbus Circle after the 2 mile mark and seeing it was only 25 degrees, certainly validated how cold I felt.
Proud of myself for doing it….but I may not be signing up for another NYRR race...
